Opening Reception – Exhibition “The Art of Friendship – Your Perspective on Friendship”
Starting June 12, 2026, Georgs Galerie will present the exhibition “The Art of Friendship—Your Perspective on Friendship,” featuring 39 selected works bystudents in grades 9 through 13 from Gronau and Epe.
Through paintings, sculptures, and other creative works, the young people explore the many facets of friendship—from trust, solidarity, and a sense of security to conflicts, loneliness, and loss.
The opening reception will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will offer an opportunity totalk with the young artists.
The exhibition runs through July 24, 2026, and is open free of charge on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., as well as on June 28, June 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. as part of the Haus Lebenstein’s “Plauderstunde” (chat hour).
