Gronau/Borken District On Thursday, September 10, the German Red Cross (DRK) Integration Agency in Gronau, in collaboration with the Gronau Public Library, is hosting a special reading and project presentation as part of Intercultural Week. Authors will present their stories from the digital book and podcast and offer personal insights into their life journeys. The reading will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Gronau Public Library.

The digital book “From Arrival to Belonging” and the podcast “Diversity Told” were produced as part of a joint project by the Cartias and DRK integration agencies in the Borken district titled “Here in the Borken District—From Initial Orientation to Active Integration 5.0.”

Those interested can experience the stories live and talk with the authors and podcast creators.

This project brings to life the personal experiences, thoughts, and perspectives of people with a history of migration. The authors describe in their own words the challenges they faced, their hopes, and their arrival in Germany. This offers moving insights into a wide variety of life stories.

We welcome your participation:
The project is intended as a contribution to an open social dialogue on migration and integration in the Borken district. It gives a voice to individuals who are otherwise rarely heard and invites people to learn about different perspectives. The project remains open to new stories and contributions—and on September 10, guests at the Gronau Public Library will have another opportunity to get involved.

Those interested can access the digital book and the podcast online to get a sense of the diverse life stories—or experience the stories in person at the reading.
