Gronau Sings — Together for the Very First Time in the Bürgerhalle

Until now, anyone in Gronau who wanted to sing really loudly had to resort to the shower, the kitchen, or the highway on-ramp. On Saturday, November 14, 2026, there will be another option: That’s when the 1st Gronau RUDELSINGEN will take place at the Bürgerhalle, Spinnereistraße 20. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the event starts at 7:30 p.m. On stage will be Sascha Götz on vocals and guitar, and Lutz Angermann on piano.

Since this is the premiere, here’s a quick rundown of what happens on a night like this: Two musicians play, and several hundred people sing along. The lyrics are displayed in large letters on the screen, line by line, in time with the music. Everyone sings along to songs they all know: pop, rock, Schlager, and oldies. There’s no rehearsal, and no audition either. If you hit the right note, you sing along. If you don’t, you sing along anyway—that’s the whole trick.

Sascha Götz and Lutz Angermann will lead the evening, call the shots, and make sure no one has to go it alone. There isn’t an audience in the traditional sense, because no one will be just watching tonight. The more voices, the bigger the pack.

You don’t need any prior knowledge, no sheet music, and no choir experience. All you need is a seat in the Bürgerhalle. Advance tickets for the Gronau premiere start at 16 euros; there are still plenty of tickets available. The event is organized by Team Götz.
