Live surgery and lectures on Urology Day at St. Antonius-Hospital Gronau

Live transmission of a laser prostate operation as well as exciting lectures on urinary tract infections, prosthetics in urology, artificial intelligence and much more: the Urology Day at St. Antonius Hospital Gronau once again offers an informative insight into the Clinic for Urology, Urological Oncology and Robot-Assisted Surgery.

The event is aimed at anyone interested in finding out about the latest developments in modern urology, as well as doctors and healthcare professionals. After the welcoming address at 10 a.m., the event will kick off with a live broadcast of a state-of-the-art, gentle operation: Dr. med. Armin Secker, Head of the Urological Laser Center Gronau, will demonstrate a Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP). This is a modern procedure for the treatment of benign prostate enlargement.

This will be followed by various presentations:
