Experiences and Confessions of an Agatha Aboriginal: With references to world politics, German federal politics, but above all to local events, as well as brief glimpses into the music scene of the time, “Dorfgeflüster” takes visitors on a wild roller-coaster ride through the almost forgotten days of the 1950s and 1960s in Epe. Let’s be honest: Who didn’t know them—the central figures of village life, such as “Aunt Käthe” from the kindergarten at Josefshaus, the fearsome Principal Aschenbach, the raspy voice of “Grandma Nacke,” Alwine, the manager of the Grand Hotel Richters, the legendary Peter Hamm, and the fruit and vegetable barons Katzwinkel and “Löna.” Does that ring a bell?

In “Dorfgeflüster,” Otto Lohle deliberately focuses on direct interaction with the audience in a humorous way and a relaxed atmosphere, allowing guests to share their childhood and teenage experiences in an entertaining way.
