The band focuses in particular on the musical culture and history of the 1950s and 1960s. This was a time of musical innovation in popular music.
From swing to rock ’n’ roll, to rhythm ’n’ blues and beat, from garage rock to psychedelic rock. All of this was closely linked to the political, social, and cultural movements of the 1950s and 1960s. Young people’s urgent need for freedom and independence was reflected in these musical forms of expression.
It was during these times that the “greatest” songs in the history of popular music were written. Many of the songs that Wild Child plays are hardly ever played these days. So join the band on a journey through an era of new beginnings, rebellion, and defiance.
