LARA is especially well-suited for families with children who want to try out a cargo bike or simply go on a longer bike ride with their kids. The cargo bike also makes it easy to handle “everyday errands.” 🛍️
The cargo bike is a pedelec with continuously variable hub gears and four drive levels. In addition, the two-wheeler has a removable child seat and a removable hood. LARA is 260 cm long, 75 cm wide and has an empty weight of 60 kg. The cargo bike was purchased by the city of Gronau and is provided by the city. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia subsidized 60 percent of the purchase cost.
Rental:
All you need to rent a bike is your ID card, and you must pay a deposit of 50 euros. Additionally, the person renting the bike must be at least 18 years old.
