Boundless: Welcome to the Three-Country Lake in Gronau

It connects the Netherlands, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia: the Dreiländersee in Gronau, which invites you to linger across the borders!

For years, the 28ha lake has had top marks in bathing water quality. As an official EC bathing water, it is also regularly inspected and monitored by the health authorities.

The popularity of Gronau’s Dreiländersee is not only due to the excellent water quality, but also to the extensive range of leisure activities on offer: Whether playing miniature golf, sailing, horseback riding, hiking, living or relaxing – the Dreiländersee is always a recommendable address for a weekend trip or a short visit for guests from near and far.

Baden

In the summer months the bathing lake offers a welcome cooling. A beautiful white sandy beach invites you to linger and a water playground to play.

Waterpark Gronau

Sailing

The Dreiländersee is divided into a bathing lake and a sports lake. The sailing club SV Vorwärts Gronau e. V. 09 is located at the sports lake. For a sailing trip please contact the club.

Cycling

The Dreiländersee connects the Netherlands, Lower Saxony and NRW and is therefore the perfect starting point for a cycling tour. Grab your bike and let’s go.

Note: Cyclists are not allowed on the loop trail around the lake.

Hiking

Approx. 2.9 km is the length of the short hike on the path around the lake. Perfect for a walk. But also bigger hikes are offered by the surroundings. See for yourself.

Darf man auf dem Dreiländersee ohne Genehmigung mit einem Kajak fahren?

Um auf dem See Kajak zu fahren, wird keine Genehmigung benötigt.

Gibt es eine Toilette vor Ort?

Eine WC-Anlage befindet sich am Hauptbadestrand. Diese ist von Ostern bis nach den Herbstferien von 8:00 bis 20:00 Uhr geöffnet und kostet 0,50 €. Ein behindertengerechtes WC ist ebenfalls vor Ort und ist ganzjährig geöffnet.

Darf ich mit einem motorbetriebenen Wasserfahrzeug auf dem Dreiländersee fahren?

Leider sind laut Seeordnung motorbetriebe Wasserfahrzeuge, mit Ausnahme zur Sicherung des Wassersports, nicht erlaubt.

Kann man am Dreiländersee grillen?

Das Grillen am Dreiländersee ist nicht gestattet.

Darf man am Dreiländersee mit seinem Hund schwimmen gehen?

Hunden ist es nicht gestattet im Dreiländersee zu schwimmen. Zusätzlich gilt vor Ort eine Leinenpflicht.

Wo erhalte ich einen Dauerparkausweis für den Dreiländersee?

Einen Dauerparkausweis für den Dreiländersee erhalten Mitglieder der Gronauer Angelvereine (Angelsportverein Dinkelfreunde Epe e.V., SFV Floßweg Gronau 38 e.V., Fischereiverein Gut Fang Gronau 1950 e.V., Fischerei- und Hegeverein Amoco) sowie Mitglieder des Wassersportvereins Gronau e.V. und der Traditionsgemeinschaft Abteilung TG-Boulen des Sportvereins Vorwärts Gronau 09 e.V. in der Touristinfo Gronau für 30,00 €. Eine Mitgliedsbescheinigung muss vorgelegt werden. Der Vordruck kann hier heruntergeladen werden.
