On this tour, you will discover historic buildings that tell of a bygone but formative era of the textile industry. From former factories to trading houses, you will learn more about the history that made Gronau an important center of textile production. The highlight of the tour takes you to the restored White Lady, a unique landmark of the town. During a tour of the building, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the innovative concept of “lively” and the exciting transformation of this historic building.

At the old steam locomotive on the station forecourt in Gronau (Bahnhofstraße 45)
Parking facilities are available.
The tour ends at the White Lady. (Distance to the steam locomotive: approx. 750 meters)
Important:
Tickets can be purchased from us or from the VHS Gronau. The minimum number of participants is 11.
Exchanges or refunds are not possible. However, tickets are transferable to other persons.
People with the B mark on their disabled pass pay the normal price, the accompanying person is free. These tickets can only be purchased in person at the tourist information office.
