Artists: Godela Bozzetti (violin) was particularly inspired by her studies with Prof. Helfried Fister, Prof. Jürgen Geise at the Mozarteum Salzburg and Prof. Lynn Blaikeslee at the International Summer Academy Salzburg. She began playing the baroque violin as a student
Friedemann Dipper (piano) received important impulses through his studies with Prof. Peter Feuchtwanger in London and with Sergiu Celibidache in Mainz. He trained as a Natural Voice Teacher in Berlin. He teaches this body-dynamic work in combination with instrumental playing at the VDMK Brandenburg and the Bundesakademie für Musikalische Bildung Trossingen, among others.
The concert “Musical Friendships” for violin and piano is about the friendship between Johannes Brahms, Clara and Robert Schumann and the violinist Joseph Joachim, who inspired each other in the spirit of the Romantic era and composed music for each other.
The Romances Op. 94 by Robert Schumann were a gift for Clara and for him like “delicate, fragrant flowers that do not want to make a triumphal procession through the salon, but will refresh the mind in a quiet circle.”
Years later, after a trip to Italy, during which he said goodbye to his terminally ill godson Felix Schumann in Sicily, Brahms found a new musical home at Lake Wörthersee and began composing for solo piano again here after a 15-year break.
He wrote the Capriccio in F sharp minor for Clara.
In the composition of his 1st Violin Sonata in G major, he reflected on his human and artistic life.
From the so-called f-a-e sonata for violin and piano, which is a joint composition by the friends, the Scherzo by Johannes Brahms can be heard:
“In anticipation of the arrival of the revered and beloved friend Joseph Joachim”.
