80 years of peace!?: Placement of office units and interview
“80 Years of Peace!?” is an event with an exhibition, cycle route and educational program. On Monday, April 28, the office units will be set up. You can interview the organizers about the exhibition at the border near Gronau-Glanerbrug. The exhibition is open from May 5 to July 20.
The organizers Rob Chevallier, Menno Ouderkerk and Kees Heemskerk will inform you about the design of the exhibition, the layout of the 2000 m2 site, the artists, the placement of the artworks, the extended opening hours (until 20 July instead of 15 June), the number of volunteers still needed, the progress of the crowdfunding campaign on

Artists and cycle path
The 80-year history of peace and the future is illuminated by installations by 8 artists. These are: Leon Marie Dekker, Stefan Demming, Hettie Eleonora Koning, Carel Lanters/Julius Reinders, Josef Lenz, Ole Nieling and Dorothea Nold. These artists have also created a marker object on a cross-border cycle path. A bilingual passport forms the exhibition catalog. The route can also be traveled by (electric) car.

“80 years of peace!?” – from May 5 to July 20, 2025.
Central location: Enscheder Straße – Gronau. Open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am – 4 pm.
The artworks in Gronau will be set up on May 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. On Monday 5 May (Liberation Day), the exhibition will be opened to the public.
The exhibition will be officially opened by Mr. BJJ Bengevoord, Chairman of Euregio Gronau and Mayor of Winterswijk.
The opening will take place on Thursday 8 May at 17:00 in the Euregio building, Gronausestraat 1260 in Glanerbrug.
