The used bike exchange

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, the traditional spring festival will take place in the village center of Eper under the motto “Garden”. From 12 noon to 6 p.m., visitors can look forward to a varied programme organized in collaboration with Sparkasse Westmünsterland, the Eper advertising association, local clubs and businesses. The stage program has also been finalized and promises a musical and entertaining all-round event for young and old.

In addition to a varied stage program, which is a big highlight this year with a jazz festival band, guests can also look forward to the bicycle exchange and the police pedelec simulator: “How safe are you on your pedelec?” – Visitors can test this at the spring festival. After all, serious traffic accidents involving pedelec riders occur time and again. With the pedelec simulator, those interested can experience dangerous situations in road traffic in a safe environment and test their ability to react.

After using the simulator, the following questions can be better assessed: How well can I react to a dangerous situation? How does the braking distance behave on a pedelec? How does it feel to ride a pedelec and what should I pay attention to?

The bicycle exchange also invites you to sell and buy bicycles: The ADFC is looking forward to many people bringing used bicycles and also buying some.
